We are continuing to operate under the ADH COVID protocols. We are being careful, deliberate, and strategic in moving forward and maintaining a safe and sanitary environment.
The Family Life Center is currently open for fitness classes and individual workouts!
We will continue with our current schedule until further notice. Understand that maintaining these opportunities and moving forward are dependent upon government updates and guidance.
ADH Restrictions, June 15, 2020
Please be aware that the most recent Arkansas Department of Health state directive requires screening for all staff and participants, and “those who have any of the following characteristics should NOT be allowed to enter:
Walkers must wear masks, except when actively exercising, and maintain the 12-feet social distancing (unless with family unit).
Individuals using the exercise machines and/or weights must wear masks, except when actively exercising, maintain the 12-feet social distancing, and use the towel and disinfectant spray provided by FBC fitness to clean each piece of equipment after use.
Click here for additional information, especially information related to fitness classes.
FBC Fitness Member COVID Waiver
FBC Fitness members must read, sign, and turn in this COVID-19 specific waiver in order to participate in fitness classes and individual workouts. Click the link here to read the waiver. We'll also have copies at the FLC.
We are grateful to offer an Upward basketball camps option for K-2nd graders this January-February 2021. This option is based on completed surveys and with current COVID restrictions for face coverings and social distancing still in place.
Upward Camps will provide for a maximum of 8 teams with a maximum of 64 players in 3 divisions.
In this corner, HOPE!

THIS GROWING MINISTRY NEEDS YOUR HELP!
We come to know others better and more quickly when we participate in common interests. Getting to know someone is much easier sitting in the boat on the lake than sitting in a chair in the office. You get to know someone much more personally on Monday mornings during basketball than you do on Sunday mornings during worship. That's just the way it is.
I'm Wallace Yamauchi, the Fitness and Recreation Minister at First Baptist Church. Thanks for stopping by our site. We hope you'll stop by our campus and get plugged in to one of the many activities we offer. And come back often to this page where you'll find new pictures, videos, and information about upcoming events. I'm sure you'll find something that catches your eye. And if not, let me know. We may just get that curling league going after all!
