Parents and Coaches: we are aware of the current COVID surge. We have asked for your intentional preventative actions to help us have a fun, healthy, and complete season. If your player is sick, please keep them home. If you are sick, please stay home. If you, your child, or anyone who attends Upward with you tests positive for COVID, please let me know so we can inform other families as necessary.
After talking with our leadership team, our plan is to keep practicing and playing with whoever shows up. This is our current mindset, and it has been working. It requires flexibility and teamwork from all of us.
We are considering our options for if/when the time comes to take further action because of COVID. Join with us in praying against needing that. - Wallace

- Parents, please let your coach know asap if you will be absent from practice or game. Coaches will not need to show up if all the players are absent.
- If coaches are quarantined, they will not cancel practice but will ask a parent to lead practice in their place.
- If necessary, teams who practice at the same time can combine teams to practice together.
- Coaches, you need to communicate with me if you or your entire team will be out for practice/game.
